Charles Haanel‘s THE MASTER KEY SYSTEM represents of the first, if not the first, book released under the “New Thought” genre. It is the compilation of a 24 part correspondence course delivered on a weekly basis to a wealthy clientele. The material was subsequently compiled and released to the general public as a book in 1919.
