Cliff Young, a 61 year old potato farmer in Australia, knowing neither the proper marathon “techniques” nor “strategies” and wearing none of the proper equipment, won the Sydney to Melbourne race AND shaved 2 days off the record. I find this YouTube video inspirational.
To me this brief video is inspirational and a classic example of “Thinking outside the Box”. Actually, I don’t think he ever even entered into the “box” in the first place!
